Magento 2 · Shopify Plus agency

Magento and Shopify platforms, built and migrated without losing a sale.

Faster Magento 2 and Adobe Commerce stores, clean moves off Magento 1, and Magento to Shopify Plus switches where customers, order history and Google rankings come with you. The developer who plans your project writes the code and is there with you on launch night.

Your old store keeps selling

We move products, customers, orders and URLs while the current site trades as normal. Then we count the lot again before DNS changes.

Fast pages from day one

Most of our new builds run on Hyvä. We profile category, product and checkout pages on staging, so speed gets fixed before customers see it.

Tested on your real data

B2B prices, store views and the ERP feed get tested with a copy of production. Sample data hides the problems you'll hit on Black Friday.

You talk to the developers

Whoever plans your build also writes the code and is online on launch night. There's no account manager in the middle.

Hacked Magento 2 store rebuilt on a clean server while customers kept buying

A UK content platform kept getting reinfected, however many times it was cleaned. We built a fresh server, moved 20,000+ products, customers and orders across (476,648 rows in 18 tables), went through all 54 modules and switched over without closing the shop. They kept us on afterwards, starting with a rebuild of their subscription system.

Where replatforms go wrong

It'srarelythecode.It'sthedatamappingsomeoneleavesuntilthelastfortnight,theERPintegrationnobodytestedwithrealvolumes,thefeaturelistcopiedstraightfromtheoldstore.

That's how budgets overrun and launches wobble. We sort those things out at the start.

01

A feature list copied from the old store

Half of what's on it hasn't been used in years. We look at how you actually take orders, price and ship, and drop the features that won't pay for themselves.

02

Data treated like a CSV export

Tier prices, attributes and old orders go missing, and your customers are the ones who spot it. We map each entity and compare record counts after every test run.

03

Integrations wired up the week before launch

Then the ERP falls over on a busy Monday. We agree how each integration behaves during discovery and test it against a copy of your live data.

04

No plan for launch day

If you can't switch back, a bad launch eats a whole trading period. We practise the switch on staging, sync the last orders and keep the old store ready to go back to.

Services

Most of what we do is new Magento 2 and Adobe Commerce builds, and moves off Magento 1 or onto Shopify Plus. Once you're live we stay on, so new features, upgrades and speed work come from people who already know your code. Audits and security are there if you need them.

How a project runs

We use the same four stages whether it's a new build or a migration. Each one ends with a document you approve, so you know the cost and the risks before you commit to the next.

  1. Step 01

    Discovery and architecture

We learn how you sell, then decide the platform, data model, integrations and scope. You get a written architecture, the options compared, and a proposal split into stages.

  2. Step 02

    Build on staging

Modules, theme and integrations are built on a copy of your live store. We demo as we go, so nobody sees the new site for the first time at launch.

  3. Step 03

    Data migration and testing

Products, customers, orders and URLs go across in several practice runs, and we compare record counts each time. Then we test checkout, integrations, each store view and page speed.

  4. Step 04

    Launch, then keep going

We've practised the switch before the real night, do a final data sync and keep the old store ready in case. After launch, the same developers carry on with your roadmap on a monthly retainer.

Tell us where your store is now and where you want it next year.

One of our developers looks at your current setup and goals, then comes back with the route we'd take, what's most likely to go wrong and a sensible first stage.
